Physical Day for 2019/2020 Athletes at Walton

Parents, take advantage of this convenient and affordable opportunity for your athlete to get his/her physical!
As part of our partnership with Northside Hospital, one benefit we enjoy is an onsite “physical day” for all of our athletes for the upcoming school year. All athletes must have a “current” physical exam for each new school year that is dated on or after April 1 of the previous school year. In addition, the physical must be recorded on the CCSD form (attached) and must be 100% complete before a student can participate in any athletic activity, including summer or preseason workouts and certainly during the regular season. Info for the upcoming physical day:
When: Saturday, April 20, 2019
Time: 8:00am – 11:00am
8:00 (Football—Grades 9-12)
8:45 (Football—Grades 6-8)
9:30-11:00 (All other sports—Grades 9-12)
Where: Walton High School Gym
Cost: $25 (ALL proceeds go directly back into the Walton Sports Medicine and Athletics programs.)
And as you know, we moved to an online registration system this year, which includes the physical exam as well as other required information. The Online Athletic Registration for 2020 (2019-20 school year) is currently open for everyone to start a new registration. You will use the Online Athletic Registration to complete ALL of the required consent, insurance, and medical information. To access the Online Athletic Registration, log into your ParentVUE account (or create a new one) on the Parent’s menu on the Cobb County School District home page (www.cobbk12.org). If you have any difficulty in setting up or accessing your ParentVUE account, please contact the ParentVUE coordinator at Walton High School (Melissa Schrenk in the Guidance Suite).

Welcome to the 2019 Walton Track & Field season!

A few items you will need for the season:

  1.  2019 Track & Field Schedule   Click here to download the schedule.
  2.   Pay Track and Field Dues

Register on our website and pay Track and Field dues. These Dues help cover the cost of your athlete's participation. Login using your membership toolkit account (same as Walton PTSA) or create a new one. You can find more information under the "About us" tab.

  3. Practice starts at 4:00 p.m. each day and generally ends between 5:30 and 5:45 p.m. (except for days in which the distance team travels to the river for practice).
  4. All athletes are required to wear long sleeves and pants every day. After warming up, athletes may lose a layer or two, but athletes must be prepared for colder weather each day.
  5. Uniform Buying Guide

Get your uniforms at Big Peach Running Company on Johnson Ferry Road. They also give a discount to all Walton Track & Field athletes.
